Flyer Contest Brief
We need our company logo redesigned - can you put a new spin on a logo we've had for 15 years. We would like to maintain the basic idea of the logo to maintain the corporate identity. Then I need some web page graphics designed with the new logo, and I also need a graphic that can be used on our promotional brochures.
We do technical engineering work with very high tech flight simulators. See:
The logo that needs to be reworked is under the text that says "Welcome to our website" - the 3 gray geometrical shapes superimposed on the light blue quadralateral shaped grid.
Above the text that says "Welcome to our website", there is a long blue strip with 5 vertically stacked buttons on it, it also has a grid-like shape on it. This blue strip I would like to get rid of totally, and add a graphic that more closely represents the new(ish) logo.
The new strip should lend itself to becoming the top header of the promotional brochures.
I would like it to have a bit more color (green or greens, and maybe even a shade of red or 2, the color is up to you). Make it looks high tech and very interesting.
If you want to totally get rid of the logo based on what you see on the website, go for it. But it would have to be really good for us to accept that approach.
**This project is for the Flight Simulation segment of our business only. (i.e. no biomedical content is applicable).

The main idea of the logo was to keep the geometrical figures but working them into a cube. The perspective grid has a lot of details as well as many elements. The intention was to leave less possible elements, trying to keep the same old idea.

Designer: Jessica Corporon
This logo used three colors to represent Flight Simulation, Body Simulation, and Instrumentation. I kept the main shapes of the original logo, but modernized them, and gave them more movement. The colors of this logo can easily be manipulated, and the shape can be applied to a wide variety of media, including brochures, letterheads, business cards, etc.

Thank you for your consideration.
[Linked to Design #124614]So I tried to mix up the logo shades a bit. And I changed the ASC as well as options for the aeroplanes. In regards to your "source file" question- generally use illustrator 70% of the time for logos, however for yours I have been using photoshop because of the lighting effects and the gradients. I will attach the source files for you- banner on this submission and the logos on my last submission. If you want I can submit them as ESP files but they won''t be editable your behalf.

Alternative logo colors
Here is new and a modern update to the old logo but remaining the main details the same.
The graphic near the navigation bar is more interesting, modern and suits the high tech business..
I can change anything you like, if you want to be more specific. Feedback? let me know if you like it, and would like to change anything..
[Linked to Design #116380] In this design, the font and look of "ASC" is changed to a ''chrome'' look, along with the abnormal shaped ''a''.
Also the banner graphic the colours are a blue instead of a range of colours. I don''t know what colour scheme your after, but if you tell me what sorts of colours (i.e mixed gradient, or one single colour tone variation) I can submit some to you.
The logos are just a few ideas, they''re clean, crisp and fresh and tried not to use a ''neon'' look, or black light in them.
Also in the banner, I have put in a airoplane graphic (I''m not an expert on plane shapes so I hope it resembles one) it''s just in front of the light as a shadow/silhouette like when planes are in the sky.
I hope these designs are more to what you are after!
[Linked to Design #124614] I tried to fix the banners problem of not being able to be blend with a white background. I feel it didn''t work as well as it can be visualised to look like. For some reason the waves of light loose there impact when next to a white background.
I put together a simple mock letter head, just as an idea to see the logo on a page.
Also I tried to change the aeroplanes colour in the logo design you liked, however the aeroplane or the background can only be on a gradient otherwise it looks too busy.
Logos- 1st the one you liked. 2nd one with a simple colour to the aeroplane. 3rd a different blue. 4th a cutout so a background can be seen through it. 5th is 3d aeroplane. etc .
Also I tried to put the correct plane in the ''sun'', as well as change the text from a chrome to a plain white.
Let me know if we''re getting somewhere. And what sort of text you''d like to see in the banner.
Cheers, and I hope your getting some results you like
[Linked to Design #126799]This is the white background one your after.
Would you like me to submit the source files for every option we''ve done? Or if I submit it as a PSD and separate the layers for you with labels for each logos edits, so all the logos are on the same source file? Same with the banner, they''re all on the singular file.
